After many years in sales, I (Ken Bamrick) have decided it is time to stop working for 1 company and being told how to teach people how to sell. I’m looking to work with people I enjoy working with AND those that see the value of individualized sales support (and follow-up) like I do. Whether it is a weekly coaching call, a field ride with a struggling seller or designing and implementing a world class on-boarding program, I have done it and can do it for your organization.
I have been a Sales Manager & Sales Coach for Fortune 500 companies like Motorola & Staples. Most recently, I built and ran the Learning & Development efforts for Citron Hygiene (a $120 million organization) with offices in the US, Canada and the UK (sales coaching, on-boarding, sales manager development etc.). At CH, I was responsible for teaching both entry-level and tenured sellers, to sell menstrual disposal services (yes you read that right) for an international hygiene firm.
Born & raised in New York City. I currently reside in Waldwick, NJ with my wife of 27 years Pam, and my 2 sons Kenny III (20) and Nicky (18). Both boys are currently playing college baseball & watching them play has become my main hobby for the last 10 years.
My sales career started selling typewriters in Dallas, Tx with a New York accent (now that's a challenge). I have been trained by IBM, Xerox, HP, Canon, 3M & Motorola, just to name a few. I have sold everything from the famous IBM Selectric typewriters & the first word processors, to digital on-line advertising and office products.
My specialty is being able to take bits and pieces of many selling systems and creating a customized plan. I will never force a system on you. I will learn your company and design a solution, with your input along the way. Then I can either facilitate the session(s) or create materials you can use for years (AND train the trainer in your organization to get the most out of them).
I love to travel and enjoy in-person interactions with sellers. I offer both on-site & virtual training (using virtual breakout rooms to better accommodate a regional/national audience).
